Isla's First Christmas

Isla Rose - 10 Months

Little Miss Isla turned 10 months old yesterday. She is seriously the best baby ever!

Month 10 Happenings...

Isla now has 3, almost 4 teeth. I have decided that teething is the worst! 

She is cruising around the furniture like a pro now. Sometimes she even gets a little brave and lets go. 

She is OBSESSED with her Daddy. When we call him while he is at work, she can see his picture on my phone and repeatedly gives it kisses. When he is home, she climbs all over him and kisses his cheek. She spends a good part of everyday crawling around the house going "Dadadadada". 

She has just this week learned her second word. She yells "Hi" while waving. It's the cutest! (Sadly though, still no "Mama")

She has started biting when she is frustrated. We are trying to figure out how to break that habit. 

She LOVES other children. She smiles at any kids we see while we are out, and follows her older cousins around like a little puppy. 

She also loves attention (as long as no one touches her). When we go places, she will stare at people until they notice her, then she gets a huge smile and acts shy. She is quite the little flirt.

Isla Rose - 9 Months

Our little stinker will be 9 months old tomorrow! I can hardly believe it. She has become the silliest, most energetic baby I have ever seen. She is getting into anything and everything, but amazingly understands the concept of being told "No" and she actually listens which is fantastic. She won't have her 9 month doctors appointment until next week, but the pictures turned out so cute that I couldn't wait to post them. We adore this little bug!!! 

Month 9 Happenings...

 Isla has perfected her army crawl, and just today started to crawl the regular way

She is in the process of cutting her 3rd tooth, the first top one. Sleep has been non-existent this week.

She has started to develop the most adorable sense of humor and is constantly being silly and smiling

Isla gets bored if we stay at home all day and gets a little aggressive towards her toys. I think it is super funny.

She LOVES music. I turn the Disney Pandora station on and she gets all excited and does a little bit of dancing (mostly bouncing in place or swinging her arms)
