Wedding Pics From Friends and Family

We had such an amazing wedding day and are so grateful for all of our loved ones that came out to share in our day. We haven't gotten our professional pictures back from our photographer yet, but here are some really great ones from Marshall's sister, Amy, and my bestie, Lavender.

All of the beautiful flowers were done by my sister-in-law, Brittany, my mom and Lavender.

Our friends and family waited so patiently for us to come out of the temple after our sealing. We ended up with a ton of pictures of Marshall's side, but not too many from my side.

We're Married!!!!

Our flower girls were my one year old niece, Anella, and Marshall's four year old niece, Aurora.
They were soooo cute!

Our reception turned out amazing and exactly as we wanted it. My family was put in charge of setting everything up and they did a wonderful job!

We had a short ring ceremony so everyone felt that they had a part in our day since we were married in the temple. Marshall's dad spoke, then Marshall and I said how we felt to each other and exchanged rings. I really did marry the sweetest man!

Our reception was exactly what we wanted and how we wanted to share our day with the people we are the closest with.

Lavender took these pictures of my beautiful mom and me. I am so happy with how they turned out.

Most of the pictures we have from after our sealing at the temple are with Marshall's side because my family had to leave to set up the reception. Once we get our pictures back from our photographer, there will be more of my side. Marshall's sister, Amy, really took some great shots of the McKinnon side for us.

I had so much fun meeting my beautiful new sister-in-laws!

After our sealing at the temple, Marshall and I were starving, so we stopped at In-and-Out and got something to eat. We went through the drive through and all of the teenage girls came to the window to see us. It was pretty funny and they even gave us In-and-Out hats that say "Just Married".

The night of the wedding, we stayed at the City Creek Marriott. We checked in right before heading over to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for our reception and while we were at our reception, the front desk staff wrote us a congratulations card and had sparkling cider and chocolate dipped strawberries put in our room for when we got back. They also upgraded us to the top floor over looking City Creek and Temple Square. We are definitely going to give them a good review!

Neither of us can imagine having a more perfect wedding day or spouse. We are so happy to finally be married!!!

Bees, Booms and the 80's

Marshall and I have been having so much fun lately!

For our surprise date in June, Marshall took me to a Salt Lake Bees baseball game.

While we were there, we got the biggest ice cream cones we have ever seen. Marshall had to finish mine it was so big.

We're pretty sure the Bee's won, but we left a little early, so we'll just say they did.

We bought a new grill for the balcony. Marshall had to put it together without any instructions and he did amazing. Then we put the new grill to good use and made some very tasty steaks.

For the 4th of July, the Hutchings family invited us over for a bbq, so we drove out to Wyoming to buy the good fireworks to take with us. We went to Phantom Fireworks and ended up getting almost $500 worth of fireworks for less than $200 because they gave us so much free stuff.

This is our amazing fireworks spread...

Before heading over to the bbq, we spent the morning relaxing at the pool.

Jill and Ryan did an amazing job and we had so much fun at their 4th of July party.

Everyone enjoyed playing lawn golf while we waited for it to get dark out.

Finally the fun began! Once it got really dark, I forgot to take pictures of the fireworks, but at least we got a few at the beginning.

For my July surprise date for Marshall, we went on a totally 80's date. I picked up some 80's gear, to make sure we looked completely ridiculous for our date.

 .

Since Denny's was popular in the 80's, that is where we went to dinner.

We each had a pancake breakfast, then split a tasty chocolate milkshake.

We both tried to win a stuffed animal out of the claw machine, but it is totally rigged, so we didn't end up with any.

We listened to my Debbie Gibson and 80's mix CD's on the way,

And finished the night by watching the movie Harry and the Hendersons.

We always have so much fun together and can't wait to be husband and wife. 19 more days!!! I guess I should get back to wedding planning now...
